We were kindly Invited to take part in Ruffwears SS19 campaign 'Beat the Heat' We chose two products from their new range a Quencher Bowl in Meltwater Teal and a Jet Stream cooling jacket in blue lagoon colour.
The Ruffwear Jet Stream is a lightweight summer jacket which cools dogs during adventures intended for both light and high intensity activity alike. For the jacket to work it must be soaked in water, wringed out and then placed onto the dog ready to go. It then both keeps the dogs in shade and helps to cool through evaporation.
We found the jacket kept Fergus cool throughout the day, it was easy to put on and off. The only downside was that the jacket snagged easily and with a Labrador that's constantly chasing a ball into undergrowth it meant the top looked messy quite quickly. This however didn't affect the jackets performance.
The Ruffwear Quencher Bowl is the original packable travel dog bowl. The bowl is made out of collapsible fabric that can easily fits in a pocket or backpack. The bowl comes in a range of colours and sizes to suit your needs.
We use this bowl daily on out adventures, it is always in my backpack along with an Eco friendly re-useable water bottle. It has been the most useful travel companion and as you can see from the above photo, Fergus loves it also.
